Apart from his routine and research activities on in vitro fertilization and related assisted reproductive technologies, Dr. L. Cem Demirel has also been an active laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeon for fertility enhancing procedures, like laparoscopic fimbrioplasty, laparoscopic neosalpingostomy, laparoscopic salpengiectomy, laparoscopic myomectomy and endometriosis surgery, hysteroscopic adhesiolysis, hysteroscopic septum resection, myomectomy and polyp removal. Dr. L. Cem Demirel has published more than 50 scientific articles in peer reviewed scientific journals in his fied. He has currently been on the reviewer board of Fertility Sterility Journal (official publication of American Society of Reproductive Medicine).
