Navigate utilizes accreditation to assist in the selection of our medical travel hospital network. We start with organizations which have been approved by the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua).
ISQua is the umbrella organization of accrediting institutions. ISQua does not accredit individual hospitals. Simply put, ISQua accredits the accreditors.
For medical travelers leaving from the US, the most familiar accrediting organization is The Joint Commission International (JCI). JCI is the international arm of The Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). JCAHO sets standards for healthcare organizations in the US and US Territories. At a minimum our hospitals have a Joint Commission International accreditation and an established International Patient Department to assist the medical tourism patient.
